Yorkshire-born singer/songwriter AJ Brown has today announced he will record a new EP before a live audience in his hometown of Halifax later this month.
‘IN THE MOMENT: LIVE’ will be recorded at Crossley Gallery, Dean Clough, Halifax, on Tuesday May 17.
The announcement comes as AJ has just completed a 30-date sell-out UK tour with Collabro, playing prestigious venues across the UK including the Royal Albert Hall.
Tickets for the exclusive event at Crossley Gallery are priced at £20, including a copy of the EP, and are on sale now from www.aj-brown.co.uk
Speaking about today’s announcement, AJ said: “I want to give my followers something unique to experience. I’ve had lots of people buying my music, but not many people see what goes into making it.
“This will be a great experience to see how we make an EP and also be part of the action. I wanted the EP to have a live feel to it, so what better way than in front of a live audience!”
The live recording will see AJ perform five tracks for the new EP. The EP will then be mixed and produced on the night.
A film is also being made to accompany the release with fans being part of the action on the night.
Following a whirlwind year that has seen the 26-year-old perform alongside Tom Jones, Billy Ocean, Marti Pellow, George Benson and Rebecca Ferguson this promises to be a special occasion for the legion of fans AJ Brown now attracts. The self-proclaimed ‘Brown Bears’ who follow AJ around the country are in for a treat in this exclusive live performance.
